Apple Cinnamon Crisp Smoothie

Hey everyone! How is your Monday going? Okay so I wanted to do something a little different here lately. When I first started my blog I wanted to do a "Fat Girl Friday" post with super yummy foods! Well as time went by I was more into make up and completely forgot about my food part! Since I am on this new health kick (for how ever long I decide to try it this time lol) I wanted to share a recipe that was healthy and really yummy!

Apple Cinnamon Crisp Smoothie!

Who doesn't love anything with apple and cinnamon. With fall around the corner and I figured since everyone will soon be on the pumpkin craze (I myself will be as well) that I needed to make something for the ani-pumpkin people that was really yummy! I wanted to make it healthy though so here we go!

You will need the following:
1 Green Apple
1 1/2 cups of Silk soy milk (vanilla)
1/4 cup of Quacker Oats
3 dashes of Cinnamon
Ice (Cartoon Character cup sized)

Tools:
Blender
Cup to put smoothie in

Okay so this is SOO easy to make and really yummy. This is for more of a thicker type of smoothie. I like mine thick, if you perfer a thinner one then add some more soy milk to it.

Peel and cut up the apple into small pieces, place into blender and dash on the cinnamon.

Add a character cup full of ice into it (these cups are like .88 at Walmart. My daughter has a horrible habit of chewing on them though.)

Add your Oats!

Then pour on the milk and blend!

Pour into a glass and rink it down!

See how easy this was?!?! Super easy and really yummy! I am on a smoothie kick though so be prepared to see lots more of these bad boys coming onto this blog!

Jamberry Nail 7 day challenge!

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are having an amazing day! Today and for the next seven days I will be working on this blog. I will be updating it daily but I will explain why in a moment! So I recently got curious about the Jamberry Nail kits! I was wondering how long do they truly stay on? Are they hard to do? It is really worth the money? So I found an amazing lady online who has gotten me set up with a sample kit! She sent me these items to try and give a true test. I am very excited to try these bad boys out with you guys over the next week and show you how well they do hold up.

So as you can see I have a full set and then a sample sheet. What I am wanting to do is probably go for just a sample one and paint the rest of my nails so I can truly see how long these wraps would last vs just putting on some nail polish. I will say that the designs makes me super happy! They look very pretty and not blurry or tacky!

See How pretty they look! I adore these designs so much and if they are am amazing as I have heard then I will be ordering lots of these! They even have some Disney ones! I am super excited to try these pretties out so lets just get started!

Day 1:
Applying!
Okay so starters I have to push back the cuticles.

Now time to clean my nails with this guy!

Okay so I picked this sample out of them all. I thought that it would look very pretty against a black polish which is what I plan to paint my nails with.

So you cut it in half.

Pick it up by a top corner. Heat the sticky side for a few seconds. I used my hair dryer to heat it up.

Place onto nail.

File off extra

Heat up strip on nail to make sure you have a solid bond. BAM your done!

I looked into my book to see if I could find the sample name and here it is!!!

So I finished this up with some black polish to go with it and here is my final nail look. I know I am terrible at painting my nails so I really hope these things work so I can actually have some nice looking nails!
So it wasn't hard to do at all! I love how they look and they are pretty easy to do! So far they have won me over but we still have some days to go!!

Day 2:
Okay so as you can see some of the polish is chipping already. This is somewhat my fault because i did use cheap polish for this but still this is how they look so far. This is after wearing for one day and as you can see it hasn't chipped or ripped off. It has stayed on very well and still looks super cute. They are comfortable and I barely notice they are on. So far they are working wonderfully for me!

Day 3:
Alright so today was a great day as well with the wrap! This thing has stuck so greatly and hasn't snagged or tried to come off yet! The design still looks beautiful, I wish I could say the same about the rest of my nails though! Poor paint keeps chipping off. I am so ready to re-do my nails already but I want to do my hands with the wraps now instead of polish!

Day 4:
Today I decided to rearrange my house. Well at least my daughters playroom and the living room. So I was moving a lot of toys and furniture around and the wrap held up to all of that! I wish I could say the same for the polish but sadly it looks very chipped off. Only three more days til I can finally re do my nails. Hopefully this wrap can hold it for three more days. I put a lot of stress on it today and it did amazing. This little thing is truly impressing me! Please ignore my smudged screen. I never noticed how bad it was til now. Poor computer screen.

Day 5:
Okay so I am noticing a little wear on the tip of the wrap. I am assuming that it is due to me working a lot around my house as well as my job. It still looks very pretty though and not as bad as the rest. You really have to get up close to see the tip of the nail is showing. Other then that they are still doing great! Only two more days to go and so far I love them! I'm not sure if you can notice or not but my pointer nail chipped. I have very weak nails so I have to keep polish on them so they don;t break. Since the polished chipped off my nail became weak and chipped.

Day 6:

One more day of this horrible polish look! It is driving me crazy! I Can't wait to take this polish off and do something different like wrap both of my hands without polish! Anyways as you can see i'm outside in this picture waiting for my daughter to get home from school. The polish is a wreck but the wrap still looks super cute! You can sort of see the edging of the wrap better in this picture. I think it has to do with how I filed off the excess. Anyways tomorrow is the final day AND my overall opinion on these things!

Day 7:
Sorry to keep you all waiting for the final day! I got called into work early yesterday and I got off very late so I wasn't able to write it but I did get a pic of my final day! Okay so you can see where my nails are beginning to bend and probably will break soon as well as the polish it pretty much gone at this point. Look how nice that wrap still looks though. I mean compared to the rest that still looks amazing and like it could last longer as well!

Overall Review:
Okay so after seven days of these beauties I realized that they are truly amazing. I also know that you realized I only showed you one hand this whole time and that's due to me not being able to take pictures on my phone with my left hand. Sad but true lol. Okay So some trips I realized that helped me make them last longer:
If you have odd shaped cuticles what helped me was to push them back a little far then place the wrap down and sort of pull the cuticle back over the wrap a little bit that way it doesn't try to push up the wrap and it looks more natural.
I believe using a clear coat over the wrap would help it not chip on the edge. I feel like it would help seal it in place so that's something I will be doing on my next wrap.
Anyways these are something I will be adding to my make-up collection for sure. They are so adorable and very comfortable. Also there is no dry time so give your self about 15 minutes to do them and your done!

If you want to take your own nail challenge please contact and order from this amazing lady below! She is such a great person and super friendly! I will be telling everyone about her in my area for sure!

Just be you.

Okay so I needed to do another random moment blog. I know in my previous random one I talked about how I want to get fit. This is such a huge problem area of my life that I am trying to fix so I can Love myself again! It is very hard to do so when looking into a mirror and seeing my body how it is. I have so many flaws with myself from frizzy hair to not being a perfect makeup artist like Jacklyn Hill but that doesn't need to stop me from loving who I am. I am a strong person who just needs to see the best of who I am I hope this blog can also help you see the best that you are as well.

I made this blog to help you all as well as help myself. I need to break myself from trying to be someone I am not and focus on who I am. I need to look at myself is a postivie way and I want to help everyone to see themselves as an amazing soul! This is just a part of who I want to be and how I want to help the world out!

Here is a list of things to help yourself as well as reminders for myself for when I have a bad day!
*YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL*
*You have an amazing personality*
*People DO care about you no matter what you think heck, I CARE FOR YOU!!*
*This is only a moment of your life not the rest of it so don't stress over something that won't even matter a month from now*
*Your favorite show, music, make up ect. is awesome don't let others tell you differently*
*There is nothing a hot bath can't fix*
*When in doubt run it out! or walk girl cause we know it's hard to run in heels!*
*Zen music does help the mind relax*
*90's music does make you smile and want to jam out if your having a bad day!*
*Being a jerk isn't who you are*

I just want us as people to realize that we need to be true to ourselves and love who we are. We need to stop trying to change ourselves for other people and how the media looks. We are all here to be different so lets show the world what makes us who we are and why we are just as important as everyone else. If there is something YOU don't like about yourself then change it for the better! As long as you are able to love yourself with it or without it that is the true challenge. You have to love your flaws or you can't truly love who you are. Make yourself feel just as special as you do for everyone else.

Yoga Anyone?

Okay so this post is going to be a little more personal then my normal post. Today I am going to discuss my weight and how I am going to change quite a few things! So This is a very hard topic for me to discuss because I know it is all my fault that I have gotten this out of hand. I can't blame Mcdonalds for making their fries yummy or blame my job for being to tired to work out. This is all my fault but today I have decided to truly try to start to get fit. I don;t want to say lose weight because that's not exactly what I am after but I am after a more healthy version of myself. I want to be able to go to the park with my daughter and not get to tired to fast and be able to go for a walk without losing my breath so easy.

So today was a start of trying to get fit. See it is going to be very hard to do considering my work schedule but I will be doing this not only for myself but for my family as well. So today I started with something a little different. I started with your normal eating healthy breakfast and drinking water but today I decided to try out YOGA! Okay so yoga has been around forever. It is a way to practice your a connection of your mind, body and spirit. It is a very important connection to have considering to being a fit journey you need to be connected with everything in your body.

Okay so today I tried out a Yoga on Youtube. They don;t offer any in person classes around me and since I needed to do this at my own pace I decided that A Youtube instructor would be best for me, so I tried an instructor on Youtube called Yoga with Adriene.  She was such an amazing soul to try to learn this practice from. Her beginners video is about twenty minutes long so make sure you have time to do this before starting it. She goes over most of the basics and shows you some simple but very effective poses, My body was kind of sore after my first go with it and I heard things crack but I figure it is because I haven't done anything like this is SO long that my body needed to stretch, So the poses like I said are simple and very easy to do. She suggest to do this video for a week to get into the idea of yoga and I agree! You should do this video for a week so that You body can adjust to doing something like this and get into a routine of it.

Personally I will be doing yoga again! Not only did it stretch my body but my mind was relaxed and I was able to balance my body and mind very well to create a great connection. A relaxed mind can help you through the day to help you be a better person and not to stress as much. This is a great start to get fit and to become healthy. If your able to go out to yoga classes I suggest that you do and try this out! I personally loved it.

Well that's all I have to say in this post, It isn't my normal review post but this one is for me to start a better life and that excites me too!
