Jamberry Nail 7 day challenge!

Hey everyone! I hope you guys are having an amazing day! Today and for the next seven days I will be working on this blog. I will be updating it daily but I will explain why in a moment! So I recently got curious about the Jamberry Nail kits! I was wondering how long do they truly stay on? Are they hard to do? It is really worth the money? So I found an amazing lady online who has gotten me set up with a sample kit! She sent me these items to try and give a true test. I am very excited to try these bad boys out with you guys over the next week and show you how well they do hold up.

So as you can see I have a full set and then a sample sheet. What I am wanting to do is probably go for just a sample one and paint the rest of my nails so I can truly see how long these wraps would last vs just putting on some nail polish. I will say that the designs makes me super happy! They look very pretty and not blurry or tacky!

See How pretty they look! I adore these designs so much and if they are am amazing as I have heard then I will be ordering lots of these! They even have some Disney ones! I am super excited to try these pretties out so lets just get started!

Day 1:
Applying!
Okay so starters I have to push back the cuticles.

Now time to clean my nails with this guy!

Okay so I picked this sample out of them all. I thought that it would look very pretty against a black polish which is what I plan to paint my nails with.

So you cut it in half.

Pick it up by a top corner. Heat the sticky side for a few seconds. I used my hair dryer to heat it up.

Place onto nail.

File off extra

Heat up strip on nail to make sure you have a solid bond. BAM your done!

I looked into my book to see if I could find the sample name and here it is!!!

So I finished this up with some black polish to go with it and here is my final nail look. I know I am terrible at painting my nails so I really hope these things work so I can actually have some nice looking nails!
So it wasn't hard to do at all! I love how they look and they are pretty easy to do! So far they have won me over but we still have some days to go!!

Day 2:
Okay so as you can see some of the polish is chipping already. This is somewhat my fault because i did use cheap polish for this but still this is how they look so far. This is after wearing for one day and as you can see it hasn't chipped or ripped off. It has stayed on very well and still looks super cute. They are comfortable and I barely notice they are on. So far they are working wonderfully for me!

Day 3:
Alright so today was a great day as well with the wrap! This thing has stuck so greatly and hasn't snagged or tried to come off yet! The design still looks beautiful, I wish I could say the same about the rest of my nails though! Poor paint keeps chipping off. I am so ready to re-do my nails already but I want to do my hands with the wraps now instead of polish!

Day 4:
Today I decided to rearrange my house. Well at least my daughters playroom and the living room. So I was moving a lot of toys and furniture around and the wrap held up to all of that! I wish I could say the same for the polish but sadly it looks very chipped off. Only three more days til I can finally re do my nails. Hopefully this wrap can hold it for three more days. I put a lot of stress on it today and it did amazing. This little thing is truly impressing me! Please ignore my smudged screen. I never noticed how bad it was til now. Poor computer screen.

Day 5:
Okay so I am noticing a little wear on the tip of the wrap. I am assuming that it is due to me working a lot around my house as well as my job. It still looks very pretty though and not as bad as the rest. You really have to get up close to see the tip of the nail is showing. Other then that they are still doing great! Only two more days to go and so far I love them! I'm not sure if you can notice or not but my pointer nail chipped. I have very weak nails so I have to keep polish on them so they don;t break. Since the polished chipped off my nail became weak and chipped.

Day 6:

One more day of this horrible polish look! It is driving me crazy! I Can't wait to take this polish off and do something different like wrap both of my hands without polish! Anyways as you can see i'm outside in this picture waiting for my daughter to get home from school. The polish is a wreck but the wrap still looks super cute! You can sort of see the edging of the wrap better in this picture. I think it has to do with how I filed off the excess. Anyways tomorrow is the final day AND my overall opinion on these things!

Day 7:
Sorry to keep you all waiting for the final day! I got called into work early yesterday and I got off very late so I wasn't able to write it but I did get a pic of my final day! Okay so you can see where my nails are beginning to bend and probably will break soon as well as the polish it pretty much gone at this point. Look how nice that wrap still looks though. I mean compared to the rest that still looks amazing and like it could last longer as well!

Overall Review:
Okay so after seven days of these beauties I realized that they are truly amazing. I also know that you realized I only showed you one hand this whole time and that's due to me not being able to take pictures on my phone with my left hand. Sad but true lol. Okay So some trips I realized that helped me make them last longer:
If you have odd shaped cuticles what helped me was to push them back a little far then place the wrap down and sort of pull the cuticle back over the wrap a little bit that way it doesn't try to push up the wrap and it looks more natural.
I believe using a clear coat over the wrap would help it not chip on the edge. I feel like it would help seal it in place so that's something I will be doing on my next wrap.
Anyways these are something I will be adding to my make-up collection for sure. They are so adorable and very comfortable. Also there is no dry time so give your self about 15 minutes to do them and your done!

If you want to take your own nail challenge please contact and order from this amazing lady below! She is such a great person and super friendly! I will be telling everyone about her in my area for sure!

Is This a Ipsy Bag Gem?

Hey guys! So my little sister gets the monthly Ipsy bag! An Ipsy Bag is a monthly subscription that cost ten dollars a month. You get awesome trial sizes that last a lot longer then just one time! I am still trying to decide if I want to get myself one or not so until then I just steal things from hers! Okay So i don't really "steal them" considering the fact that she only wants the skin cleaners from it anyways! So this month I wanted to try her benefit KA-BROW!  but instead of trying it on me I wanted to try it on her. Poor girl is going to hate me at the end of this!

So this is how it looks in the package still. It has a very adorable little package and a little detail paper attached to it. I love the whole magic theme it has with it and on the back of the page it shows all of the brow product there is. It says it comes in six different colors, but i'm not to sure what color we have.

So I placed it by a quarter for you to be able to see the size of the trial. Keep in mind the little brown pot at the bottom is how much of the KA BROW you get. Here is also a picture of it taken all apart for you to be able to see what it all looks like.

Time To Try!

Okay so her is my sisters brows before the lovely stuff placed onto them. I have never really tried to use stuff on brows so please excuse how jacked up this will probably look!! Okay so here we go!

Okay so this is with one brown done. I know it looks terrible! But it seems to go on pretty good. It's a little tricky getting it out of the tub but it glides on easy.

Here is both brows done and they so don't match but I feel I did so much better on the second one considering i knew what to do that time! They do seem to fill the brows in so good! She said you could barely feel it on there so it didn't feel like clown paint which is a plus! I had her go wash her face and she said she needed to scrub to get them off.

Final Opinion!
Her opinion on it was that personally she doesn't do make up so that isn't something she would use but if she did she would for sure have it in her make up daily bag! I found it easy to apply so that is a huge plus! I need more practice with it but it's something I want to learn more on how to use! I love the color and how it matches very well with the brows!

A Mans Shaving Balm as Primer?!?!?

Hey guys! I have been hearing about using a post shave balm as a primer for a few weeks now. I wasn't sure what to make out of it since thats not what it's made to do. After a few weeks of considering (and finally running out of my own primer) I decided to get the balm. I bought it while getting this weeks groceries with my husband. He didn't notice what it was at first but the looked at me like I was crazy when we started putting everything away. I laughed and told him what is was for and he replied with "It's your life" and walked away. I believe he thinks I have lost my mind!

For starts it is cheaper then any primer I have ever used which is a plus! It looks to be alot more for your money as well which is another bonus considering I was spending a lot on a little bit! My usual spending for primer was roughly $12. This bottle of it only cost me $6! It is located in the shaving section of Walmart. It did feel weird buying it because I felt like people looked at me weird at first. So my main concern is the smell. I truly do not I want to go walking around smelling like a guy all day.  Plus if it really works or did I buy this to sadly use on my legs after I shave?

Time To Try!

Okay So Here is how It looks outside Of the box. Like I said it is alot more for your money because I feel like I would only use a tiny bit of this to mash my face. There is a "men smell" to it but it is not overly strong in the bottle which is a good sign for me.

Opps I thought the bottle was full of the product but come to find out it's a white bottle lol. It's still prety full of the product.

I am only going to use a tiny amount to see how it works. If I need to I will add more.
Okay so I put it on and it felt really sticky at first. The smell pretty muuch left right after I put it o so thats a huge plus! I'm going to let it dry and apply my face now. I don't know why the ligthing decided to make my face look like I have dirt all over it but I promise I dont!

Okay so Here it is with all the make up on! So it doesn't feel heavy or to thick like some primers do. It leaves my face looking smooth and not like I have coats of powder on which is a plus as well. It seems to work very well so far. I am going to have it on all day today so I will be able to tell you my over all opinion a little later.

6 hours later.....

Okay so apparently I have very oily skin. This stuff makes my face shine and double oily :/. But it does hold tall my make-up on VERY well! I just hate how it makes my oily face appear double oily! Not a cute thing if you ask me.

Final Opinion!
I love the fact that it helps my make up stay on so well. I wish my skin wasn't so oily though so I could love it even more. I'm going to use thid product a little longer because I am out of primer but after I am able to buy myself more primer I will not be using it unless I can figure a way to with my oily face!! I really wish I could love it more because it truly does hold up VERY well! Even after blotting my face at times to get rid of the oil it still held perfectly. I'm just very mixed about it right now!

Almay One Coat Thickening Mascara Review!

Okay so let me give you a little back ground on how I ended up with this new mascara. I wen to Walmart and used my buy one get a FREE Almay mascara coupon I had gotten from the Sunday paper. So I bought an eye shadow that had a sample of another mascara (which I plan to review really soon) and got this mascara for free! So I ended up paying 4.97 (plus tax) for both products! A win for me! I also got some shampoo and conditioner for only three dollars (plus tax) I was VERY proud of myself that day!

Okay so here is how it looks. I bought the black because I like my eye lashes black and not brown, plus I feel black stands out a lot better! The package and mascara is really basic looking but still adorable.

Here it is out of the package. It is a very good sized and like I said before It is pretty basic looking. I usually use the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara (373 Black) but I sadly ran out so lately I have been using an Avon mascara that I'm really not huge on. I got it for free from someone so I have been using it until I found the moment to buy a new one.

Here is the wand. It still looks really basic and nothing super crazy so i'm not sure how well this is going to be. So far I don't think it's anything special. But I still plan to give it a true try so here we go!
(I do use a eye lash curler)

Time To Try!

Okay so as I was putting it on I saw a HUGE difference with my lashes. Not only did the color look amazing it did seem to make my lashes look bigger. I love how it doesn't clump them together and I truly only used one coat for these pictures. (I don't know why I look so dang tan, I'm as pale as powder sugar!  lol)
(I don't know why my eye looks like I have a crazy wing to it but I believe that is just a piece of my hair or a shadow lol)

Final Thoughts!
Okay so like my Wish product trial I am very pleased with this product! I wore it all day and out to my sister's birthday dinner (which they didn't sing happy birthday to her and i'm so not happy about) but it stayed on the WHOLE time! It looks basic but goes way beyond that! I will be buying this one again. This is going to be my go to mascara! It is very light and super pretty. So for a natural long look this is the brand for you!
