Pokemon Go?!?!?! (updated)

Okay I am such a nerd and I know this so to start this blog off I want to apologize for how nerdy it will be! So last night I saw lots of post about Pokemon Go! At first I thought it was silly until I looked into it and realized that this is what I need in my life to complete it! SO I downloaded it and I fell in love! You get to create your character which is super fun and have a username! So at first you get to collect a Pokemon off the spot! Its truly cool because you can you user camera to see the Pokemon at the spot in your house or where you are located at!

My first one was a Squirtle! I was so happy my husband thought I lost it! Then again this was at eleven at night I can sort of understand why he thought I lost my mind! But i got to catch him with a Pokeball on my phone and I got super excited! Anyways so you have your little character that is connected to your GPS Because Of this connection it will show you areas in YOUR town to go to in order to collect more items. They are called Pokestops! I am not able to try these out yet since I don't have enough data but I will be trying in eight days!!!

So far it's a really cute game. I will be posing photos below of everything I have been able to do so far and give info on it! Either way I suggest if you are a true Pokemon fan this game is for you! Its very fun and gets you walking which is a plus because it helps you exercise!  WOO HOO I just caught an Eevee In my bathroom! Can you tell I'm super happy over this!?!?!

I will be updating this post a lot so keep it on watch for more Pokemon Go! News!!!

My super cute Rattata Chillen on my couch waiting for me to catch it!

Okay so these are some items that you would have in your invo each item as you can see gives a description on what it is and used for as well as how many you have!

Eevee What are you doing in my bathroom?!? Super happy to have this one!!!

All Of the ones I have caught just from my house! I guess I live on a Pokemon gold mine!

UPDATE:::
Okay so I have been playing this game for a bout a week now (on and off due to work and other things) I have reached a level 8! It is a really fun game to get you walking. You have to walk in order to hatch eggs and to catch more Pokemon! I am always seeing people going around my town now catching them and playing this game!

Downfall? The evil people in this world! The people who are making fun of others who enjoy this game! Facebook has shown that either you like it or are straight hating it and being rude to the people who love it! I love how it is getting people outside who would normally stay inside playing video games! I am such an inside person til I started playing this game now I want to adventure out more! I want to "Catch them all!"

Remember my excitement over getting Eevee? Well since then I have caught quite a few of her and was able to evolve her into....

YES! I now have a Vaporeon! WOO HOO and I Also have been trying to power her up some so when I am finally able to check out a GYM a have a few powered up! Okay so to power them up one must get candies. Now how do you get candies? You get them when you find said Pokemon. Another way is to transfer your doubles to the professor! That will give you one candy each which will help you evolve!

These bad boys are what makes me walk! I recently had one which was 10 km! I finished it and ended up with a Lapras! So the whole point is you have to walk to hatch them. It's really exciting to see what you end up with in the end! I love blind bags and things like that so this really got me excited!!!

Below is my updated invo! You can read to see what each item does and how they help you! Most of these items can be found at Pokestops!

Well that is where I am at the moment! I really enjoy this game and can;t wait to try to battle at a GYM!!!

A Mans Shaving Balm as Primer?!?!?

Hey guys! I have been hearing about using a post shave balm as a primer for a few weeks now. I wasn't sure what to make out of it since thats not what it's made to do. After a few weeks of considering (and finally running out of my own primer) I decided to get the balm. I bought it while getting this weeks groceries with my husband. He didn't notice what it was at first but the looked at me like I was crazy when we started putting everything away. I laughed and told him what is was for and he replied with "It's your life" and walked away. I believe he thinks I have lost my mind!

For starts it is cheaper then any primer I have ever used which is a plus! It looks to be alot more for your money as well which is another bonus considering I was spending a lot on a little bit! My usual spending for primer was roughly $12. This bottle of it only cost me $6! It is located in the shaving section of Walmart. It did feel weird buying it because I felt like people looked at me weird at first. So my main concern is the smell. I truly do not I want to go walking around smelling like a guy all day.  Plus if it really works or did I buy this to sadly use on my legs after I shave?

Time To Try!

Okay So Here is how It looks outside Of the box. Like I said it is alot more for your money because I feel like I would only use a tiny bit of this to mash my face. There is a "men smell" to it but it is not overly strong in the bottle which is a good sign for me.

Opps I thought the bottle was full of the product but come to find out it's a white bottle lol. It's still prety full of the product.

I am only going to use a tiny amount to see how it works. If I need to I will add more.
Okay so I put it on and it felt really sticky at first. The smell pretty muuch left right after I put it o so thats a huge plus! I'm going to let it dry and apply my face now. I don't know why the ligthing decided to make my face look like I have dirt all over it but I promise I dont!

Okay so Here it is with all the make up on! So it doesn't feel heavy or to thick like some primers do. It leaves my face looking smooth and not like I have coats of powder on which is a plus as well. It seems to work very well so far. I am going to have it on all day today so I will be able to tell you my over all opinion a little later.

6 hours later.....

Okay so apparently I have very oily skin. This stuff makes my face shine and double oily :/. But it does hold tall my make-up on VERY well! I just hate how it makes my oily face appear double oily! Not a cute thing if you ask me.

Final Opinion!
I love the fact that it helps my make up stay on so well. I wish my skin wasn't so oily though so I could love it even more. I'm going to use thid product a little longer because I am out of primer but after I am able to buy myself more primer I will not be using it unless I can figure a way to with my oily face!! I really wish I could love it more because it truly does hold up VERY well! Even after blotting my face at times to get rid of the oil it still held perfectly. I'm just very mixed about it right now!

Zootopia Birthday Bash!

Hey guys, I'm going to do a little review of a birthday party I just threw for my daughter! We did a Zootopia theme, which is actually really hard to get ideas for since it's still really new. I spent about two months trying to figure out what on earth I was going to do to make this an amazing birthday! It would be my daughters first party that had friends and not just family so I had to make it right! So one day after three cups of coffee I finally figured out what I wanted to do. I sat down and sketched out everything that I was going to make and where it was going to go.

I knew I had a pretty tight budget to go on. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a 6th birthday party but I wanted to do something really cute and special. Most of her decorations ended up being DIY. But it didn't end up tacky like I thought it would. My daughter ended up staying a night with her grandparents the night before so me and my husband could finish up birthday shopping for her birthday, also it was a surprise party so she couldn't be home when I did eveyrthing.

The "pawcicle" chocolates are really easy and super cute to have. Just buy a paw mold (I got mine off of wish), buy white chocolate, and buy red food coloring. Melt the chocolate, add in the food coloring, let it cool for a little bit the fill the molds with the not so hot melted chocolate. Let it sit til cooled and your done! I made these while she was home cleaning her playroom before going to her grandparents house. She never even noticed me (thank goodness).

The treat bags are really simple, I made a header for them off of Google Drawings, Copied a few coloring pages from a Zootopia coloring book that my daughter already had, stapled a zip-lock bag in between the header and the coloring pages then filled it with the chocolate "pawcicles" that I made and then it's done!

The cake was made by an amazing baker. She did such an amazing job and worked with my budget well. I sent to her what I wanted and she made it happen no problem. I had to drive about an hour out of my town on the day of the party to get it but it was well worth it! She was simply amazing! The cake was super yummy as well! For some odd reason she couldn't find vanilla flavoring anywhere! She was so worried at first til she found a Mexican vanilla extract. It was so super yummy and I will be going back to her!

Okay so besides watching the movie I had to create a little game for them to play. We did Doughnut ring toss! It was super easy to make and lots of fun for the kids to play! As you can see its just a paper towel roll, cardboard pieces and paint! The kids loved it and I didn't have to spend much money at all for it!

Here are some pictures of how I decorated my house for this day! Me and my sister had to wake up very early to get everything done by two. I owe her a HUGE thank you for putting up with how crazy I was and being able to help keep me calm during all of this. I know most of the details are things that my daughter didn't notice but I was so glad to do all of this for her, she deserved the best party and I believe I did good with what all I had to work with!
(Please excuse the quality of the photos, I took them with my cell phone.)
Blew up tons of balloons for the party!

Carrot Forks :)

The Food Table

(I know a small TV -lol- but here is where they watched the movie)

A random window in my living room.

Time for cake!

Present table (before all the guest arrived)

Treat bags!

So as you can see it was an amazing party! My daughter fell in love with it all and was so surprised since we had her believing that her birthday was two weeks away. This is a moment I will cherish forever. She had a blast as well as all of her little friends! If you have any questions comment below, I'll be so happy to answer them!
