Almay One Coat Thickening Mascara Review!

Okay so let me give you a little back ground on how I ended up with this new mascara. I wen to Walmart and used my buy one get a FREE Almay mascara coupon I had gotten from the Sunday paper. So I bought an eye shadow that had a sample of another mascara (which I plan to review really soon) and got this mascara for free! So I ended up paying 4.97 (plus tax) for both products! A win for me! I also got some shampoo and conditioner for only three dollars (plus tax) I was VERY proud of myself that day!

Okay so here is how it looks. I bought the black because I like my eye lashes black and not brown, plus I feel black stands out a lot better! The package and mascara is really basic looking but still adorable.

Here it is out of the package. It is a very good sized and like I said before It is pretty basic looking. I usually use the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara (373 Black) but I sadly ran out so lately I have been using an Avon mascara that I'm really not huge on. I got it for free from someone so I have been using it until I found the moment to buy a new one.

Here is the wand. It still looks really basic and nothing super crazy so i'm not sure how well this is going to be. So far I don't think it's anything special. But I still plan to give it a true try so here we go!
(I do use a eye lash curler)

Time To Try!

Okay so as I was putting it on I saw a HUGE difference with my lashes. Not only did the color look amazing it did seem to make my lashes look bigger. I love how it doesn't clump them together and I truly only used one coat for these pictures. (I don't know why I look so dang tan, I'm as pale as powder sugar!  lol)
(I don't know why my eye looks like I have a crazy wing to it but I believe that is just a piece of my hair or a shadow lol)

Final Thoughts!
Okay so like my Wish product trial I am very pleased with this product! I wore it all day and out to my sister's birthday dinner (which they didn't sing happy birthday to her and i'm so not happy about) but it stayed on the WHOLE time! It looks basic but goes way beyond that! I will be buying this one again. This is going to be my go to mascara! It is very light and super pretty. So for a natural long look this is the brand for you!

Zootopia Birthday Bash!

Hey guys, I'm going to do a little review of a birthday party I just threw for my daughter! We did a Zootopia theme, which is actually really hard to get ideas for since it's still really new. I spent about two months trying to figure out what on earth I was going to do to make this an amazing birthday! It would be my daughters first party that had friends and not just family so I had to make it right! So one day after three cups of coffee I finally figured out what I wanted to do. I sat down and sketched out everything that I was going to make and where it was going to go.

I knew I had a pretty tight budget to go on. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a 6th birthday party but I wanted to do something really cute and special. Most of her decorations ended up being DIY. But it didn't end up tacky like I thought it would. My daughter ended up staying a night with her grandparents the night before so me and my husband could finish up birthday shopping for her birthday, also it was a surprise party so she couldn't be home when I did eveyrthing.

The "pawcicle" chocolates are really easy and super cute to have. Just buy a paw mold (I got mine off of wish), buy white chocolate, and buy red food coloring. Melt the chocolate, add in the food coloring, let it cool for a little bit the fill the molds with the not so hot melted chocolate. Let it sit til cooled and your done! I made these while she was home cleaning her playroom before going to her grandparents house. She never even noticed me (thank goodness).

The treat bags are really simple, I made a header for them off of Google Drawings, Copied a few coloring pages from a Zootopia coloring book that my daughter already had, stapled a zip-lock bag in between the header and the coloring pages then filled it with the chocolate "pawcicles" that I made and then it's done!

The cake was made by an amazing baker. She did such an amazing job and worked with my budget well. I sent to her what I wanted and she made it happen no problem. I had to drive about an hour out of my town on the day of the party to get it but it was well worth it! She was simply amazing! The cake was super yummy as well! For some odd reason she couldn't find vanilla flavoring anywhere! She was so worried at first til she found a Mexican vanilla extract. It was so super yummy and I will be going back to her!

Okay so besides watching the movie I had to create a little game for them to play. We did Doughnut ring toss! It was super easy to make and lots of fun for the kids to play! As you can see its just a paper towel roll, cardboard pieces and paint! The kids loved it and I didn't have to spend much money at all for it!

Here are some pictures of how I decorated my house for this day! Me and my sister had to wake up very early to get everything done by two. I owe her a HUGE thank you for putting up with how crazy I was and being able to help keep me calm during all of this. I know most of the details are things that my daughter didn't notice but I was so glad to do all of this for her, she deserved the best party and I believe I did good with what all I had to work with!
(Please excuse the quality of the photos, I took them with my cell phone.)
Blew up tons of balloons for the party!

Carrot Forks :)

The Food Table

(I know a small TV -lol- but here is where they watched the movie)

A random window in my living room.

Time for cake!

Present table (before all the guest arrived)

Treat bags!

So as you can see it was an amazing party! My daughter fell in love with it all and was so surprised since we had her believing that her birthday was two weeks away. This is a moment I will cherish forever. She had a blast as well as all of her little friends! If you have any questions comment below, I'll be so happy to answer them!

Wish: New Professional 15 color Camouflage Concealer Make-Up Cream Palette Review!

Hey guys!! So this is going to be my review on Wish: New Professional 15 color Camouflage Concealer Make-Up Cream Palette. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do! I only paid two dollars for this so i'm really not expecting it to be super amazing!

Okay so today my pallet finally came in the mail! I ordered it through wish about two weeks ago and I was starting to worry but it did come today and I am super excited to share it with you guys! So lets get started on this review!

Okay so it came packaged very good. As you can see I got lucky and my palette did NOT melt while traveling, which is super lucky for me since i live in Florida. It have some very pretty colors and it a okay size. It does not come with a brush though, which sort of upset me because I clicked one that said the brush was included, but it's okay cause I have some to use with it! As you can see it is in a very simple case, kinda cheap made but still locks for now which is a plus. I just love how the colors look and hopefully they work amazing. It doesn't look like it will have a ton of color with it though, hopefully a little goes a long way! It sort of looks like clown paint so I am a little worried about it.

I placed it beside my brush so you can sort of see the size of the palette.

The cheap looking lock for it. As you can see it looks like it could break easily. But hopefully I am wrong and it wont break.

Time To Try!
Okay so here comes the time we have been waiting for, time to try! Hopefully this product isn't a fail because I actually like it!

Okay so It doesn't feel as clown paint as I thought it would. It feels like normal make up and not to heavy. I was trying to figure out which color I wanted to use. So you can see It makes a pretty good coverage on my arm. I had to use one of my old brushes to use it so that's why there is no brush pictured.

Okay so here it is on my face (sorry for looking like a creeper) it didn't feel heavy at all. It does feel a little oily though so if you have oily skin this isn't for you! I love how much it covered how balanced it looks.

Final Product! Okay so here it is with my whole face done (good-bye creeper look!) I love how it looks and feels. It worked great and so far I would recommend it to someone. Now I'm going to see how hard it is to get it off my arm.

Okay sooo.... I was able to get it off my arm with just water. That worries me a lot considering that I live in Florida and it gets hot. I have to go shopping today and out to dinner with my husband so I will Give a complete final report on this after I get home tonight. Lets see how much of a day wear it is!

Final Thoughts!
So after wearing it all day to go birthday shopping, out to dinner and ended up going on a walk with my husband I have to say that this stuff actually help up pretty good! I love it and will be using it again very soon! It's very cheap and a pretty decent quality!

Coupon Overload!!

Okay so I thought it would be an amazing idea to start saving money. How so? Well my brilliant idea was to start to coupon. Oh yes I was all into the idea of extreme couponing and how I was going to rock this and become one of the best in my area. Well So far I have NOT met this goal, and iv'e been doing it for a month. But I did learn some amazing tips and trick on it and with that I am able to save some money which is the whole idea of doing this!

Sales are a huge part to couponing. Apparently you need to wait til said item goes on sale and then use your coupon with it! sounds easy but trying to keep up with over what ten stores has on sale is very complicated. So what I decided to do is keep up with only the stores I use, granted I won't be able to make it huge, save tons of money and have a stock pile for the army BUT I am able to use these things to my advantage and save money as well as get what I need.

BUY ONLY WHAT YOU USE! This is something I had to stress to myself. Granted you might be able to get diapers for $1.25 a pack, but what use are they if you don't have a baby? You really didn't save money that way, you spent it on something you don't need. So only keep coupons that you know you will use and need. That way you truly are saving money and you don't have useless items at your house.

Always take your coupons with you when you go shopping! Usually I plan what I need and see if I have coupons to match it BUT I always take my coupons with me because I have all these coupons for Items I use and if something is on sale and it can become cheaper then heck yes I'm going to buy it right then and save for later!

Go for shorter lines. Make sure it's a time of the day that no one is really out in your town and that you won't have several people waiting behind you. Also look for a friendly cashier! They make it so much more easier and don't get stressed out with the coupons!

Coupon sites are a big help as well! Find groups on Facebook to help you figure out what you are doing and also see what other people are able to snag, which is a huge help to you as well! I follow several Facebook pages to help me kind of see what's all on sale and to ask any questions I do have.

My first time ever using coupons was at Walmart. I was grocery shopping and I snag a few items that I had coupons for. I have never done this before and the lady who rung me up was not very friendly. Keep in mind I had never done this before! So I wasn't sure if your suppose to give them before or after and the lady thought I was so stupid for asking, rolled her eyes and replied "I can't ring a coupon up on something you haven't" which granted makes sense but she was already upset because I had coupons, It made me feel like a fool but I still used them and save $8! Not a lot BUT I was super proud of myself for saving money. That's a trip to Ellianos!

SO even if you only save .50 your first time your still trying and learning just like me! Together we can become amazing money savers! I'm super excited to see where this takes me and I will post how some ideas on how to sort your coupons in a later post. Well that's all I have for now. A long post about coupons, yep I have completely lost my mind.
